KitchenAid Disposal KCDB250G 1/2 hp is good for you with 1-2 people at house. Performance and strength are not too difference with badger-5 but this product is quiter.

Actually nothing wrong with performance, I found happy customer anywhere but many of them complaining about bad customer services.  Most of complainers explain about slow action customer services, lack of information inside package and low product knowledge customer service officer.

Just like other type from other manufacturer, this 0.5HP KitchenAid Waste Disposal machine are possible to install by yourself. But since many customer complaining about unclear manual, I recommend to use professional worker to install this product. Unless you have experience installing waste disposer machine before.
